Harvey Nash is an International IT Professional Services firm. I currently have a number of different SAP positions available. Here is a description of one of my available positions:
IT Analyst – Supply Chain – Reports to Supply Chain Team Leader for the SAP Implementation.
Provide hands on Supply Change SAP knowledge in a Global Implementation of SAP. Responsibilities will span most aspects of SAP and ideally the right candidate will have extensive SAP skills particularly in the Supply Chain field, associated with MM & PP. The configuration will include Supply Chain MRP, MPS, Production Planning, Procurement, Quality, warehouse management, product costing (average costing approach).
Position Role
· Design and Implement a Global IT Supply Chain Processes
· Participate in the Global Implementation of SAP.
· Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve complex business process and procedural problems.
· Participate in projects of a cross-functional nature, and deliver/negotiate SAP processes and applications to customers.
· Ensure appropriate Global involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
· Act as global advisor for most complex processes within the IT function.
· Manage and/or perform the design, testing and application of SAP Supply Chain systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
· Liaise/act as the technical analysts to ensure the new functional configuration is transported into production environments without unintended impact on business units.
- Provide hands on SAP training to the project team members in a working environment during the implementation phase
- Generally become the “go to guy” for SAP expertise
Areas of Responsibility:
· Participate in the global implementation of SAP Supply Chain Functionality including Demand Planning, MM/PP/QM.
· Debugging of SAP programs in order to solve application or configuration issues.
· Work directly with 3rd Party Implementation Consultants and SAP on a technical level in order to solve application issues.
· Apply complex SAP notes.
· Programming in ABAP – ability to design, develop, test, and implement, ABAP programs. This would include the implementation of BADI’s and User-Exits.
· Work closely with the Global data center and other areas of Global IT.
· Liaise/act as the technical analysts to ensure the new functional configuration is transported into production environments without unintended impact on business units.
THE INDIVIDUAL
EDUCATION:
Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Sciences, Engineering or Business.
EXPERIENCE:
· Participated in SAP implementations
· At least 5 years experience in a technical position.
· Configuration experience in SAP applications including many of the following areas: QM/ MM/PP/EBP/WM/APO-DP/ALE.
· BW would be a plus.
· Basic technical experience in ABAP is essential (debugging and coding).
· Experience with Solution Manager
· French language skills are a plus.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES.
· Strong SAP Configuration Skills
· Customer Focus: Has a well-developed customer focused, relationship oriented philosophy, operates in a manner that makes IT easy to do business with.
· Communication: Has the ability to effectively communicate technical information and concepts to team members, outside partners and managers. Also have the ability to “train as we go” with the fellow Supply Chain team members in regards to SAP functionality
· Team Building/Relationship Building: Has the ability to establish credibility, trust and rapport with external and external colleagues; works well as a member of a team; has the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
· Planning/Priority Setting: Has the ability to recognize changing needs and pre-prioritize activities accordingly; is able to develop plans and timetables to complete projects and meet defined objectives and milestones.
· Analytical/Decision Making: Has the ability to identify critical elements and cause/effect relationships in situations; is able to use this information to evaluate, draw inferences, and make decisions.
· Technical problem Solving: Understand deeply the features and functionality of the technologies and pushes the system and products o their limits; ability to work with obstacles in the technical product, usually with no documentation.
· Complex Thinking: Sees the interrelationships between the parts of the technical situation: determines how to use technology to address business requirements.
· Persistence: Does not let technical obstacles slow down effort; has self-confidence in taking risks and experimenting with solutions.

New opening in the Caribbean for an experienced SAP Project Manager.
General project information:
Implementation project called “One” of SAP platform.
Assignment starting : Mid August
Approximate length of assignment: 12-18 months
Implementation of SAP platform in Central America (The Caribbean). Primary installation at 7 branch offices.
The client has a slim lined organisation in the region.
Local implementation team from preferred supplier is available.
We need:
A Project Manager who reports to client’s Local Steering Committee.
The Project Manager needs to be experienced, with strong drive. SAP skills would be beneficial but not critical.
Necessary to have Operational and Change Management skills as this is not only an IT project.
Project starts 20/8 -2008 with startup meeting in Panama.
Local project office: Optional :Costa Rica/ San Juan, Panama City/Panama, Jamaica/Kingston.
Role description:
Overall responsible for the success and delivery of the project within a Market Unit/LC. Authorized to make all necessary decisions to secure a successful delivery
Responsible for that the project is run according to the client’s Market Unit Services implementation methodology
Will focus on securing management and user commitment and ensuring appropriate business involvement
– Responsible for planning the implementation, agreeing the local objectives, securing necessary business participation.
– Once the plans have been agreed, the responsibility includes the delivery of the project results within the agreed budget and timeline.
– Secure local resources for all relevant activities
Responsible for understanding and structuring the dependencies between the implementation project and other business activities or projects in the Market Unit/LC
Reports in two reporting lines
– To Steering Committee covering the implementation itself.
– To the Program Management
Required skills
Good project management skills, including:
– Ability to manage all aspects of the project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing financial management activities
– Ability to document and communicate the status of project progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
– Ability to manage relationships between involved parties, i.e. ITM and external consultants
– Ability to define, secure, and maintain the project organization required for the implementation
– Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
– Ability to negotiate changes to commitments/requirements
– Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
– Spanish fluency
The role as Project Manager will be filled by external consultant or by internal Ericsson employee however not from same preferred supplier as local implementation team.

I am searching for a trainer, course materials and lab access for the following courses to be delivered in December in Michigan:
TADM10 – SAP Netweaver Application Server Implementation and Operation
TADM12 – SAP Netweaver Application Server Implementation and Operation II
ADM950 – Secure SAP System management
ADM102 – Administration Application Server ABAP II
We are anticipating 12-13 students per class. Need a trainer with materials and access to the system for labs. These are scheduled to begin in December. Please let me know if you think you can help and what the cost would be.
